Conditions of sale and registration
All registrations must be made through the email platform and validated by the client.
Any registration for one of our trips implies the acceptance of all our terms and conditions of sale. Registration is effective after completing the information and making the payment of the first deposit.
Registration is accompanied by a deposit of 20% on the land portion and 100% of domestic flights, per participant (100% within 45 days of departure).
The registration must be made with the names, first names and exact numbers of the participant appearing on the passport or on the identity document used for the trip of each participant.
Documents required for booking confirmation
In order to confirm your travel bookings and billing, we will need promptly after registration:

A deposit of 20% on the land portion and 100% of the domestic flights must be paid at the time of confirmation of the reservation. The final payment must be made 45 days before the arrival date. Domestic flights are 100% non-refundable non-exchangeable.
Total cancellation of the trip from you
Any interruption of the trip by decision of the participant (for reasons of health, level, or other) does not entitle to any refund of the deposit or domestic flights issued by GEO-TREK. Any unused and non-refundable benefits will also be the responsibility of the participant. Any additional costs incurred by the participant will not be reimbursed. Following a medical repatriation by the assistance of the participant, the unused benefits can be refunded, if you have subscribed cancellation insurance, according to the terms of the contract with your insurer.
Reimbursement on the land portion after full payment
If you cancel more than 45 days before departure, the full value of the entire stay will be refunded, minus the amount of the deposit, the amount of the domestic flights, the expenses of file by person, as well as any other non-refundable benefits. Bank transaction fees incurred for the refund will be borne by the participant.
In case of cancellation between 45 days and 21 days before your departure, a refund of up to 50% of the total value of the stay will be refunded, if the sum of the values of the deposit, domestic flights, administrative fees, non-refundable services and bank charges are less than or equal to 50% of the total value of the stay. Otherwise the refund will be made up to the amount remaining after deduction of benefits and non-refundable expenses.
In the event of cancellation by you 20 days or less before your departure, the non-presentation at the appointment of the beginning of the stay or the interruption of the trip on your part for any reason whatsoever, will not give rise to any refund.
Change or modification of the international flight plan
In case of late arrival of the international flight, GEO-TREK will offer you the best solution to resume the normal course of your program. Any additional costs of transportation and hotel generated by this change will be your responsibility. Transportation, hotel nights, excursions or any other service lost due to this delay will be refunded only up to the reimbursements we will have obtained from the suppliers for its services.
Decrease in group size following cancellation by one or more participants
The above cancellation policy will apply to each participant canceling their trip. In addition, for the remaining participants, the cost of travel per person could increase. Indeed, the price per person is calculated on the basis of the number of participants, and is valid only if this number is maintained. Participants who have canceled their trip will not be held responsible for these additional costs, which will be borne by the participants making the trip.
Cancellation by GEO-TREK

Modification of the program
GEO-TREK reserves the right to modify a means of transport, an accommodation, an itinerary as well as the schedules of certain excursions due to an unforeseen special event. GEO-TREK is not responsible for the consequences of any type of program alteration produced by airport closures, weather conditions, natural disasters or any other reason such as flight delay, political situation, war, strike or any other circumstance of force majeure. Additional fees for this type of alteration of the program are the responsibility of the participant.
Once the initial down payment is paid, the customer will not be able to modify the program without the agreement of GEO-TREK. Modification fees may be applied depending on the costs and penalties for cancellation or modification required by the providers of such services.
GEO-TREK declines all responsibility for personal damage, accidents, illnesses that occurred during the stay. The responsibility of GEO-TREK cannot be engaged in the event of:
Baggage is at all times under your responsibility. During the journey, luggage may be transported by rudimentary means (mule backs or llamas, 4X4 roofs) and must be adapted to these conditions. Domestic flights, international flights and carriers
Schedules, flight itineraries and type of aircraft are established by the carrier and are subject to change, or, may be affected by circumstances such as weather conditions, airport authority directives, etc. The conditions of carriage are subject to the clauses set out in connection with the ticket and the laws and regulations of the Government. GEO-TREK does not take care of international flights. It is your responsibility to check that the schedules of your return flights are compatible with the program offered on site.
The transport companies used (airplane, bus, train, boat, private vehicle) have their own insurance and are solely responsible for any damage in the event of an accident. GEO-TREK acts as an intermediary and chooses approved and safe transport companies.
You are required to respect the rules of customs, passport, vaccines and local laws. GEO-TREK cannot be held responsible for the consequences of non-compliance with the rules in force and the formalities imposed by the competent authorities.
In addition, passengers are advised to consult the safety instructions issued by the local authorities and the recommendations to travelers made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country. Any registration for any of our trips implies the acceptance of all of our terms and conditions of sale and the responsibilities listed in this document.

With your registration you authorize the GEO-TREK team (its managers or employees) to provide all necessary first aid. Dispute between the parties
In the event of a dispute between the parties, an amicable solution will be proposed. If this is refused, GEO-TREK is subject to Bolivian contractual law, so the Bolivian courts will be the only ones legally entitled to decide in a dispute between GEO-TREK and a customer.
